John Dempsey

Born and raised in Providence RI, I spent most of my adult life working as a Transmission Lineman for the power company in New England.  After 12+ years there I found myself at a personal crossroad and ultimately ended up down a new path.  I'd been dreaming of owning my own business for years but never quite felt comfortable enough to take the first step.  One day while revisiting my collection to estimate its value, I found myself pleasantly surprised.  

On March 8th, 2022 I came up with a name and logo with no expectations other than an excuse to make myself some business cards and have some fun on eBay.  From there, Sandbox Memorabilia was born and has since taken on a life of its own.

Currently operating in Las Vegas NV, I continue to be amazed by the personal and professional growth I have found within this space and plan to cherish every moment evolving with it for years to come!
